BROOKLYN MUSIC WIDE OPEN

an ongoing series of music presentations, workshops, and performances. The afternoon session will engage young people, families, and aspiring musicians in the experience of making music. The evening concerts will bring together a variety of Brooklyn-based groups to share their diverse musical styles through performance and discussion. JAZZ CONNECTION

The Connection Works Ensemble presents this educational and entertaining program for school assemblies and community centers. The group delivers an introduction to the elements of jazz by engaging the audience in an interactive session, discovering rhythm, melody, form, improvisation, and style.

CONCERTS

Connection Works presents concerts at various locations including the Douglass Street Music Collective. A dialogue between the audience and performers is a unique highlight of all CW concerts.
