Connection Works, a leader in artist-run organizations, continues its 14th season of its premiere concert series, Wide Open Works (WOW). For 14 years Connection Works has been presenting world-class performances and educational events bringing hundreds of musicians to the Brooklyn stage, such as Grammy winner Joe Lovano, NEA Jazz Masters Dave Liebman & Sheila Jordan, jazz legend Lee Konitz, MacArthur Genius Grant Fellows Dafnis Prieto, Steve Coleman & Tyshawn Sorey; John Hollenbeck, Anat Cohen, Kate McGarry, Billy Hart, John Abercrombie, Matt Wilson, Aaron Diehl, Wycliffe Gordon and many more.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the uncertainty of the situation, our first few concerts of the season will be remote and live streamed. We are prepared to return to having live audiences whenever that becomes possible.
